What is Azure ? and why the whole fuss about it ?
Well, "Windows Azure is a cloud services operating system that serves as the development, service hosting and service management environment for the Azure Services Platform. Windows Azure provides developers with on-demand compute and storage to host, scale, and manage Web applications on the Internet through Microsoft® data centers."
So what does that mean ?
In a nutshell, this means that you can deploy, authenticate, and distribute applications and services on the web with minimal on premise resources.
So what's added value ?
Well, simply this will reduce costs and effort needed to maintain, to scale up or down your application, allowing you to focus more on creating and delivering services online.
