Blog Face Lift, CRM 4.0 Accelerators and Implementation Guide updates

For those of you who visited my pages before, you probably noticed that the blog had a nice face lift(at least i find it nice). The reason behind this is not because the holidays are coming, nor because there would be a change in content...It is just that i got bored of the old template and went for a new one :)

Ok now... Back to CRM, what's new ??

Well, referring to the Accelerators Buzz, and the availability of these accelerators, I am glad to say that 3 Accelerators are available for download on Codeplex:

• CRM Notifications Accelerator
• Extended Sales Forecasting Accelerator
• Event Management Accelerator


Eventhough I downloaded all of them, I didn't have the time to test drive any...hopefully soon :)

On the other hand, the CRM 4.0 Implementation Guide has been updated. The latest version is 4.3.0 and according to the CRM Team Blog it incorporates the following additions:

- Over 20 corrections and revisions.
-Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server to use a Microsoft SQL Server cluster environment
- Upgrade the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Outlook to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Outlook
- New chapter “Resources, Downloads, and Information” (a list of resources)
- A change summary sheet that describes each correction and addition as well as its relative location in each guide.
